To bring healthy smiles for life, by inspiring good oral health

The in-house global Odontology Team is based at the TePe headquarters in Malmö, Sweden. The team supports distributors and subsidiaries by lecturing, creating educational material and attending tradeshows and exhibitions.

The global Odontology Team is involved in projects across different fields, working closely with product developers and the sales, marketing, and export departments.

The TePe subsidiaries in Germany, the UK and the US also have in-house odontological staff, who function similarly to the global team as experts in their markets. Working closely with dental professionals and using clinical experience, they inform and give guidance on TePe’s educational offer and product range.

The whole international team keeps constantly up to date with scientific research related to oral health. Striving for best practice, we exchange experiences, work together, and learn from each other. We are proud to be part of the TePe family and to be sharing our passion for knowledge through TePe Share.

Research

Several studies have compared interdental brushes and other interdental cleaning devices, especially floss, with respect to their influence on plaque and gingivitis. Patient preference is also a factor that has been evaluated. The research in favour of interdental brushes is convincing. Anna Nilvéus Olofsson, DDS, Manager Odontology and Scientific Affairs, has selected and summarized five especially important studies in support of interdental brushes.
